• We celebrate the historic Baptist freedoms of local church autonomy, separation of church and state, soul liberty and freedom of biblical interpretation.
• We are a warm and engaging church, eager to welcome new people as gifts to our church.
• We are an historic American Baptist church in the St. Louis region.
• We are a church where education, spiritual growth and faith discovery are highly valued.
• We are the “Church of the Beatitudes,” known for the artistic windows in our sanctuary.
• We value a participatory, engaging and formal style of worship with high standards of excellence in preaching, music and the experience of worship.
• We are a “bridge church” helping people overcome hurt caused by extreme fundamentalism or religious superiority.
